Statement of Secretary Nape After Video Transmission Makonda Entering Clouds Media

President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. John Beer Magufuli, today on March 19, 2017 has met and hold talks with President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Hon. Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein, the State House in Dar es Salaam.

The talks yamehudhuriwa and Minister of Energy and Mines Prof. Mwijarubi Sospeter Muhongo, Acting Executive Director of Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) Kahitwa Bishaija Engineer and Senior Manager of Finance of TANESCO Mr. Sadock Mugendi.

Meanwhile, Minister of Energy and Mines Prof. Mwijarubi Sospeter Muhongo has brought the people of Zanzibar fear that they would cut out electricity after the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar (SMZ) start paying the debt inalodaiwa and TANESCO.

Prof. Muhongo said SMZ already begun to pay Tshs 10 billion and will continue to pay until litakapomalizika.

In addition, Prof. Muhongo has urged all TANESCO chronic debtors to pay their debts in the past 5 days remaining to be paid if they will be cut out electricity.
